Once you have climbed the famous Passo del Mortirolo from one of its steep sides (Monno the easy one, Mazzo the hardest) you can add the icing on the cake by climbing the Col Carette di Val Bighera. It is a narrow paved road that brings you to 2,130m. After the first easy section, the road gets very steep for one kilometer. Once you overcome this part, the last section is more enjoyable till the col where you can admire an amazing mountain view before going down from the same road since the other side of the col is not paved.
